Studio Brief 2: Drink more tea pitch - Presentation

Below is the presentation we put together for pitching our two different ideas for the viral project.
I wrote the information for 'Intended impact' and 'How we will measure our success', with others in the group doing separate parts. We then brought our information together in the morning before the presentation and got it organised ready for showing.

I'm happy with how the presentation went, as both ideas are quite developed in concept and planning, instead of just one strong idea. That defeats the point of having two ideas to pitch.
After presenting, we got a small amount of feedback, we were asked:

  • What is the age range?
We answered this by saying that it would be a big range, as almost every age consumes tea. from teenagers upwards. But realistically, it would have to be pointed at young people because of our strong use of social media, and also if we set up things inside the college.

  • Where will you acquire so much tea?
We will buy big bags of fairly cheap tea to keep it realistic. We can't afford high end tea. But yes, this could prove to be a problem if one of the ideas really took off and we want to give away free tea.

  • Could you combine the ideas?
We were possibly thinking of doing that, but we are limited with the time we have so we thought keeping it straightforward would make the whole project work more smoothly.

All but 3 people voted for the Selftea idea over the Varieteas idea, because of how clever the pun is and how it appeals to a wide range of young people because of the popular trend of selfies. We will be carrying it forward and working on it from now on until next friday.
